چکیده
Driven-dissipative many-body systems are difficult to analyze analytically due their non-equilibrium dynamics, dissipation and interactions. In this paper, we consider a driven-dissipative infinite-range Ising model with local spontaneous emission, which naturally emerges from the open Dicke in large-detuning limit. Utilizing an adaptation of Suzuki-Trotter quantum-to-classical mapping, develop exact field-theoretical analysis diagrammatic representation spin that can be understood simple scattering picture. With representation, able critical behavior, finite-size scaling effective temperature near respective phase transition. Our formalism further allows detailed study ordered where find "heating" region within becomes negative, thereby exhibiting truly behavior. At transition, two distinct behaviors overdamped underdamped dynamics at generic weakly-dissipative points, respectively. We show behavior is robust against short-range perturbations not artifact mean-field nature model. To treat such perturbations, extend our include coupling waves The approach diagrammatics developed work should prove useful applications systems.

Field-driven transition in an Ising magnet with mixed interactions.
Transfer-matrix methods are used, in conjunction with finite-size scaling and conformal invariance concepts, to generate an accurate phase diagram for a two-dimensional square-lattice Ising spin-1/2 magnet, with couplings which are positive along one coordinate axis and negative along the other, in a uniform external field. Our results indicate that the critical line starts horizontally at the ...
متن کاملRandom Field Ising Model
This paper gives an introduction to the Random Field Ising Model (RFIM). Since its rst discussion in the paper by Imry and Ma 1] there has been great interest in this model, since Ising or Ising-like systems in random elds are a good representation of a large number of impure materials. These show features that can not be understood by studying ideal systems (i.e. Ising model). There are a lot ...
متن کاملAn Exact Solution to a Three Dimensional Ising Model
A high temperature expansion is employed to map some complex anisotropic nonhermitian three dimensional Ising models with algebraic long range interactions into a solvable two dimensional variant. Some solutions are presented. This framework further allows for some very simple general observations. It will be seen that the absence of a “phase interference” effect plays an important role in high...
متن کاملStrong-disorder fixed point in the dissipative random transverse-field Ising model.
The interplay between disorder, quantum fluctuations, and dissipation is studied in the random transverse Ising chain coupled to a dissipative Ohmic bath with a real space renormalization group. A typically very large length scale L* is identified above which the physics of frozen clusters dominates. Below L* a strong-disorder fixed point determines scaling at a pseudocritical point. In a Griff...
متن کاملStudying avalanches in the ground state of the two-dimensional random-field ising model driven by an external field
We study the exact ground state of the two-dimensional random-field Ising model as a function of both the external applied field B and the standard deviation sigma of the Gaussian random-field distribution. The equilibrium evolution of the magnetization consists in a sequence of discrete jumps. These are very similar to the avalanche behavior found in the out-of-equilibrium version of the same ...
